Since I probably won't win.... I'm sure this is just another phone prize offer . Thanks!!!
DON'T send me one!! LOL
Well, I don't expect to win.... never have never will.
GREAT POINT!!!
Why brag about nothing.... when there are so many other important things they need to improve.
So therefore you now need an APP to search thru the APPS??? LOL
I don't understand why its a problem. Have the wifi hand-off to Edge or GSM signals like all the other current UMA Blackberrys. Why does the hand-off need to be to 3G?
@ michas_pi

Why you ask? b/c they didn't have a choice. AT&T owned the other spectrum's available for 3G and there isn't enough bandwith for both to use it. This is why T-Mobile waited for years to buy the 1700mhz spectrum so that it could implement 3G.
please pick me. i running a p4 2ghz machine with 512mb ram. i have an old 17in monitor that is really 13in. this would be a welcome upgrade. thanks! and good luck to everyone else!!
@ iansltx
You make very valid points regarding the combination of AT&T and Leap. However, I don't think they are concerned with the integration nightmare your refer to.
AT&T runs the risk of bleeding customers to low level carriers without a similar offering to compete on that level. Sprint sort of lucked out, and will uses Boost Mobile to compete. Verizon will also have any issue over time. The Cell phone market is completely saturated right now. The last thing AT&T wants is to get into that low level price war. So a good counter attack would be to buy Leap or any other rapidly growing low cost provider. Otherwise if these small guys get too big, they will cost too much in the future and would have stolen a chunk of marketshare.
There is a cost of doing nothing!
Dear AT&T,

Your April's Fools joke is 1 day late..... Please don't think for one second that we believe you are seriously entertaining such a plan. But just in case you are serious, please note that we will not bend over any longer for you. All relationships will now end.
Thanks for my subsidized Iphone.
I really like the 50hr battery life and the pricing is decent, although $99 for the 16gb would have been much better. Probably missing new tech like Wifi and Bluetooth, and external speaker, which is not good considering the competition. Oh well. I'll pic up a refurb for $50 a few months after release.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
