Anyone know if the games will be available worldwide?

The XBOX originals were a fiasco for us caribean XBOX fans who couldn't buy even 1 title.
@eSocrates

This wouldn't work for Microsoft. The XBOX 360 uses a PowerPC CPU that's totally different than the X86 chip in the XBOX.
And to think you can run firefox and openoffice on this as well.
Let me get this traight. The PS3's main faults are too few games and high price so instead of solving those issues we get second life?

They showed 1 original looking game (whih means it may rule like Katamari or suck like that PSP garbage bag game) and even that's comming for 2008. Lets hope at least MGS or FF can get a release date this year.
I second the no keyboard comment. The way thing are going Nokia is going to get to build the perfect UMPC first. UMPCs are supposed to be getting smaller and cheaper. Keyboard buttons are just something else that adds to the price and takes up space. Remember the Haiku prototype?

Samsung should be removing buttons not adding them. This atrocity looks more like a pepperpad than an "Origami".
There is one feature of XBOX integration that seems overlooked by reviewers. The zune uses WMV, the XBOX reads WMV. So unlike the Ipod you can stream video from the zune to the XBOX and keep some more room in your XBOX HDD.

Now if microsoft were smart they'd let you copy video from the XBOX to the zune in a future Live update.
Does the drive play DVDs?
I'd rather wear down the addon drive than the internal one.
The orange is just the latest iteration of the Ruby concept. Intel has been shown a version of this concept for years now.

In my opinion this current batch wasn't half bad. The price sucked but I got one anyway because I know it's gonna be a while until we see some noticeable improvements.

About the article, this one is still not going to fit in your pocket, so journalists should stop drinking the haterade. If the Q1 was branded by Apple it wouldn't get so many negative reviews.
Considering I got a C3500 for US$1000 when all other tablets where at least US$1600 I believe it.

Averatec doesn't get you the longest lasting parts, but their machines are worth every penny.
Bad reviews? Yes
Expensive? Yes
Bombed? No

The Q1's are all sold out. The Eo's as well but those are probably getting returned on account of some battery life issues.

Me? I'm waiting for Asus and ECS to see what kind of CPU power and prices they'll use.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
