no joysticks, buttons, or sixaxis, just mind control.
Who cares if it's Fable 1.5? A whole bunch of people never owned the OG xbox, so if it looks better and plays better than the first, throw that game my way!
one more for the road.
xbox360 - spent my money on Gears of War (I know, I know 2 year old game), completely worth it.

I just got a used apple TV off of craigslist and I have to completely agree with everything you just said. The guy I bought it from had not used it since October, so I had a chance to play with 1.0 before it updated, and although the interface for 1.X was not as pretty, it was way snappier than 2.0.1. I've found that I now have to check the box in iTunes to only show synced movies and music, otherwise the apple TV hangs for minutes, I timed a 20 minute hang the last time, with a splash screen of "please wait while Apple TV syncs with iTunes", without being able to navigate the interface.
Overall, I think they are just trying to much with the 1.0ghz 256MB computer they have to work with. Forget the effects or whatever else is bogging it down. I'm so tempted to go back to my xbox 360, even with it's turbine wind tunnel sound, the interface is almost instantaneous. The only reason I picked up the ATV is because my wife complained she couldn't see playlists, or her TV shows would only display the title, not the genre or artist on the 360, but the sluggishness is incredibly disappointing.
apparently the Deiter effect is still in full bloom in Deutchland.
2 questions: Why isn't this being implemented on the xbox360?
And, can you change your folding@home team and member number, or do you automatically belong to the PS3 team?
Kirby's avalanche. It's like Tetris on crack. Of course, it's been under a ton of other names, but there's nothing like the feeling of whipping your oppenent and hearing "avalaaaaanche!"
Santa Fe, NM.
that caption and photo is damn hilarious.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
