To the Brandon Crisp family, saddened by your loss. Praying and hoping you'll all find a way to get through this whole ordeal. No parent should have the weight of something like this on their shoulders.

Blessings.
I do feel badly for this family, but really it could have been prevented. Things obviously got out of control with this kids gaming habits, or the parents started enforcing some rules too late into the game (no pun intended) when they realized how consumed this kid was.

Now to blame it on Daddy for packing his bags and letting him run away is rather lame. He was just calling the kid's bluff. Man my Dad did the same thing to me when I was a kid as I had threatened to run away (being disobedient to my parents authority), but I really wasn't going to run away! He's hardly the first parent to do so! People, there are bigger underlying issues here with this kid (and family) than a gaming problem. Blaming it on the game itself, Xbox Live or whatever is a cop-out.

It does bothers me though that a store sold the 15 year old an M rated game which requires that he be 17. Where was the responsibility there? It just wasn't the parents that failed. How many times have I come across a kid on Xbox Live playing COD4 or Gears and they are like 8 years old!?

Cudos to the parents who are active in their kids gaming habits, using parent controls, etc. and making an effort. They are to be commended. This kinda stuff is in place for a reason, so get educated about it before your kids end up in the same place as this one.

Ya very nice to see "The Feeling" by Kutless, suits the game well vocally and instrumentally. Underoath too ... can't go wrong there! Wish I recognized the other bands too, but then again these are free ...
Best bang for your buck, I would go with the Panasonic PZ85 series. I have the TH-50PZ85 and seriously no regrets here whatsoever!

YESSSSSSSSS!! I've been waiting for this one, and FREEEEEEEEEE!!!!
This game will have the only one thing that I think Rock Band lacks ... having the actual band members in the game instead of using your own character.
Hopefully Microsoft will do the same with their Xbox 360 HD-DVD player and allow a similar trade-in program once they release a Blu-ray version.
Well sorry Warner, it looks like I'll be boycotting anything released by you from now and into the future. That will include movies released in theater, on DVD, and Blu-ray. Actually, add HD-DVD to that list too. You won't get a dime from me.

Farewell to you!!
TURN ADDS OFF ... A MOST EXCELLENT IDEA!!!

Edit my own name, and the name of others for MSN login.

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
