The insurance companies rule us.
"This is a revelation that puts the poor in the U.S. on the same health level as poor people and citizens from some of the poorest parts of countries like Africa, Asia, and Latin America."

Disgraceful, but not surprising.

Of course it will bounce back; there's enough money in it that it could recover from anything. And I think the public is getting inreasingly immune to "scandals" due to the heavy diet of them that is force-fed to us.

Who knows, maybe red meat eaters also comprise more smokers, or people who live next to radiation, or watch too much tv, or wear plaid too often.
Guess that depends on which ancestors you're talking about. If I ate like some of mine I'd be dead already. I remember some of them arguing over who got to eat the inch-thick strips of fat from their steaks. Yum!

It will be interesting to see if they work! Sounds like it willo slowly drain the addiciton down to a habit, and though habits are hard to break it has to be easier without the chemical addicition thrown in.

It always amazes me how many people get tattoos just because they're fashionable. This is one fashion statement you can't hang in the closet when it goes out of style.

I hope that doesn't mean it's about to start climbing.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
