Palm WebOS 1.2.1 now available, 'fixes' iTunes media sync {Engadget}

Oct 3rd 2009 4:27AM If anything it'd be interesting to see Palm push the iTunes version number up to 9.0.10.

I'd have to get some popcorn!

Engadget's back to school giveaway, part one! {Engadget}

Aug 31st 2009 7:15PM Engadget, you're awesome. Even if I don't win, I still think it's awesome that you guys give away all this stuff.

My sister would absolutely LOVE the Acer Aspire One, that's for sure :)

AMD debuts Athlon II X2 250 and Phenom II X2 550 Black Edition CPUs {Engadget}

Jun 1st 2009 9:33PM Anyone else wonder if the new Phenom II X2 is also a quad-core Phenom II with two defective cores disabled, like the older Phenom X3's?

If so, it just sounds like AMD is trying to cash in on the piles of defective CPUs that they may be making, just like Intel's Core Solo line.
I'd rather spend the money on a CPU that's passed all QC tests, as a personal preference.

Engadget's recession antidote: win a Peek Pronto with a free year of service! {Engadget}

Mar 27th 2009 1:12PM Peek looks awesome- but only as long as you have some sort of pre-paid service, as the fees quickly rack up alongside a normal wireless bill.

By the way, as usual, Engadget is awesome!

Engadget's recession antidote: win a 22-inch iZ3D 3D monitor! {Engadget}

Feb 19th 2009 12:21PM Engadget, you guys rock! Giving away stuff just proves how supremely awesome Engadget is as a whole.

Keep on doing what you guys do best-- writing awesome content!

Win an AT&T Fuze from HTC and Engadget Mobile! {Engadget Mobile}

Dec 18th 2008 2:37PM Wow, I love my Fuze (and so does my sister!) - This would make a great gift for her :)

Thanks Engadget Mobile!

Ads coming soon to a paused TiVo menu near you {Engadget}

Dec 9th 2008 9:51PM Wow, I always didn't like TiVo and this just gives me one more reason to like my Dish DVR even more.

I'd understand if TiVo was free, but it's not-- you pay upwards of $100 for a box and then $10 (or whatever) a month... ON TOP of your subscription to normal television (cable, sat, etc). Combine all this with TiVo's strange history with the open source software they use then locked up (erm, TiVo-ified) and you have a big pool of confusion.

1) Customer buys device
2) Customer buys subscription
3) Customer sees ads on paid-for device while skipping ads on TV
4) ???
5) Profit? (to TiVo, AARRgh! to the Customer)

Oh well... such is the way things work...

Engadget HD catches the Media Center DirecTV HDPC-20 in action {Engadget}

Nov 19th 2008 3:29PM I dunno about DirecTV, but by the looks of that lab-- can I live there, plz?

Seriously though, that must be an awesome job getting to innovate all day...

The editor-in-chief giveaway: Win Ryan Block's gadgets {Engadget}

Aug 23rd 2008 12:38AM Well, I probably won't win, but I still wanted to say that I sure hope I do :)
Either way: good luck Mr. Block with whatever you decide to do!

iriver Spinn caught on video, kills without words {Engadget}

Aug 4th 2008 3:30AM This looks amazing-- I really like how the menus were laid out, except for the tiny buttons at the top of the "Now Playing" screen.

The one question that I've got to ask is, what music is that in the background??
