Feb 25th 2008 4:28PM it's a no brainer for me buy the hd-dvd player buy anydvd then start my netflix
hd-dvd account up again and rip all the HD-DVD movies they still have....
lets wake up, even with HD-dvd dead it will 8-12months before they start re-releasing the movies on bluray and even then I don't see a bluray player coming down to $50 in 12 months. it doesnt matter what format the HIGH DEF movie is in my tv sees 1080p not HD-DVD or Bluray so rip away i will, until i can no longer rip (R.I.P)

MacBook Air splayed -- multi-touch trackpad controller chip same as iPhone {Engadget}

Feb 1st 2008 7:21AM what people fail to realize is that the reason this lappy is so thin is because the spread the battery over the entire laptop, instead of keeping it to the reat like most manufactures. it is the only way, so dont complain about not having a removable battery.....

MacBook Air battery replacements: $129, free install! {Engadget}

Jan 16th 2008 12:42AM people did you watch the keynote?
if you saw the battery was half the size of the laptop (also just as thin) this is how they got the thing so thin... there is nothing spectacular here they just did what Sony, dell, and others could not do, or should I say would not be tolerated to do. they are apple and can get away with this. if Sony tried to put a real thin battery in there laptop and make it so you would have to send your laptop to them every year and a half we would doing the same thing we are doing now bashing the #$% out of them.

to put it simply nothing new here they took a lithium battery flattened it and spread it across the laptop base. this would not look right if it was replaceable so they left it in there and cause they are apple which designs towards fashion, they pulled it off
