Like you, I have a PS3 Chubby ...

No, wait ...
I maxed out the 32GB OCZ SSD in my system ... Time to upgrade :D
I got an "out of space" warning this morning on my old HP MediaSmart 475, even with 4TB installed ... so I guess its time to get a second server :)
Looks a little "grabby"
I couldn't go to CES ... Maybe it will come to me!
5 or 6 hundred dollars?

meh ... Your monthly electric bill will go up that much just keeping this rig juiced up, so I wouldn't sweat the cost of the case ...
My HP MediaSmart WHS has 4 1TB drives in it ... and that thing is barely bigger than the drives it contains. That LG thing looks like a brute!
It won't matter what you drive - you won't be able to afford to put gas in it in 2015.

Looked at another way, if you don't have some kind of fuel cell technology, you won't be in business. And if all the cars cost $50,000 then thats what you will pay if you want to drive. Don't have $50,000? You'll be riding the bus to work, I guess.

There's a reason Europe and Japan have really good public transport. It already costs 3x more to fill up over there.
I'd settle for being able to make my SD card be the place games are saved. The 360 lets me pick which storage device I use for saves - why doesn't the Wii?

They say the SD slot is for backing up, but you have to copy each game to it one by one and it takes ages - its ridiculous.

At least if the saves were on the SD, that would let them use the freed up internal storage for games (though I realize games are much bigger than saves)
480P wouldn't be so bad if their graphics chip was doing anti-aliasing. Its the jaggies that make it look so crappy. Anti-aliasing has been done in hardware for years - its crazy that Wii can't/doesn't do it.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm in the market for a new phone and money isn't a limitation. I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. And please, nothing that has a fruit logo on it. No offense to the fruit fans, though. Thanks!"
