I thought all of Id Software's engines since (at least?) Quake 3 supported SMP (symmetric multi-processing)? I would call those "[supporting] multi-threading even at a basic level".

Who do they have programming these things? Did they take the thousand monkeys off of writing the great literary works or something? How hard is it to make a friggin' voting machine? I know that they are paranoid about security but c'mon, this is re-frickin-diculous.

"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class.
