I can't stand the damn touchpad and all the extraneous space on a notebook. I want my keyboard brought further to the front and a mouse thanks.

Who gives a damn about spelling? I think a lot of people do. Spelling is important, especially in the media you read. While this was a silly mistake, it is important for Engadget to catch MOST of its mistakes, which I am sure the site does as I rarely see any. However, it's not wrong for a user to point it out. I think it's good etiquette, then Engadget will be a little more on top of things the next time.

As for your comments on SSD, I agree with you. New applications for tech take time to work the kinks out.

Kindest regards.
Agreed. Sounds to me like Bill is a dork. Bill deserves to be ripped off. And I could careless about a hide a pod. I think anyone with brains would figure it out immediately. If this is a joke, I'm not even laughing on the inside.
Telling the difference is EASY. Even my wife, who is an avid sportswoman who dislikes games of any kind, noticed right off. We were at the store and as we passed the console gaming section she turned to me and said, "Oh look how small it is. We ought to get one to replace your old one." She was so dead serious, I nearly fainted.
FaceBook is as every bit as useless as MySpace, perhaps even moreso as the interface is stunningly worthless and nigh incomprehensible.
I think my biggest problem would be the spacing between the keys. Look at your own kb and then look at how far the QWERTY keys are from each other on this new kb. Not good. I am also concerned with cushioning.
Saw them still selling on eBay though, so for now, perhaps that is the best way to get your gear on. Then there are the indies players out there. Plenty of guys actually in Japan sell goods on eBay and independant sites. Some of them are honest people with good offers, reasonable rates, and honest intenstions.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"All of these new nettops have me intrigued. I'm looking for a small, quiet and cheap PC to replace my aging tower in my home office, and all it really needs to do is load Microsoft Office, check email and surf the web. Is there a particular nettop that's better (or a better value) than another? I know it's a rather new segment, but hopefully someone has taken a chance on one already. Thanks!"
