the segway itself was originally this. engineers of the iBot used to ride around on it for fun. Once the iBot was licensed out to Johnson and Johnson, they developed the Segway from that board with wheels to what it is now.
"...apple (and IBM) are still the number 1 in quality..."

actually, Apple is #2 to SONY and IBM.
im a mac user, but Sony makes my favorite laptop hardware. Apple agrees: http://www.engadget.com/2005/07/30/apple-recruiting-sony-vaio-engineers-to-build-the-first-intel/
thank you!
i love macs and all, but Sony still makes the BEST hardware, and has always had nice designs
Actually, as many of you already know, Apple steals Vaio engineers left and right. In fact, if you look at the keys on the Vaio FE, which came out before the MacBook, you'll notice they also have a square and flat shape.
Kudos to Sony on its revenge.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
