The first gust of wind that hits you sideways will knock you completely out of control. Did the designer make a contextual inquiry by doing something like, I don't know, riding a motorcycle?

Might have been eye-opening.
There's a few tech specs I'm new to in this article. Do any of them mean wi-fi? Because without that ability, it's nothing like the iPhone. I get free wi-fi in my apartment building which means means free web surfing with any wi-fi device. If this doesn't have that feature, it's just an added expense I don't need.
I'd like to know what their definition of 'cell' is. I suspect these are scam artists.
Locomotion seems to be a problem for it. The wiggling action is both bizarre and nonproductive (from the video).

And by the way, is this a girl lying pantsless on the floor listening to the robot?

I'm with Rob on this one. What the hell does it do? Apparently we have to go to another information source to find out anything practical other than it's hardware specs (hint, hint, Engadget).
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
