This makes no sense at all. Steve is making this statement as if the people who are buying the iPhones are novices when it comes to getting cell phone plans. Assuming that T is charging 10 cents on the overage for the high plan that is roughly 100 bucks, an extra 250 dollars represent 2500 minutes of usage. No one who talks that much are new at this mobile minutes game... iPhones may have its faults, the EDGE network might be slow, but picking on the plan just doesn't make sense at all.
1976 Volkswagon Rabbit, Orange! 4 door.

Bought it second/third?/fourth? hand from a guy down the street in 1984. Dad paid 1400 for it.

Didn't have a choice. When you are 16 and dad is going to give you a car, you take whatever is given to you...

Owned it for three yeears...

Memories:

1)Managed to pile 7 people into the car. (two in front passenger, and 4 at the back). My best friend claimed he felt up two girls on the tennis team at the SAME TIME in the back seat. Too bad I was driving....

2)Achieved MVP statistics in the backseat.

Still feels a pang when I pass an old old Rabbit. An Orange Rabbit when you are 16 is way better than a Beemer in your later thirties... The freedom! Sigh....

Became dad's station car when I left for college. Sold off to junk dealer when engine finally went in 1989...
$800? Are they nuts? Who is gonna buy a thing like that?
This is really retarded. Just wait till the first accident caused by Fido hoping on to the lap of the driver. If there are restrictions on talking on cellphone while driving, you shouldn't be allowed to pet a dog either...
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
