Ack, you're faster then me :) 36 the 1st time, and 34 after.

Still good if we compare the score to what they say is the average speed in most people.
"Some cable companies even went so far to make this kind of setup against their terms of service. One would think that if you buy the subscription, the "pipe" is yours to do with whatever you please"

And even then, providers won't go to verify all of their client in case they go against their TOS. I have a friend who's sharing his connection with 2 of his neighbors, splitting the cost in 3, which is great for everyone. Some people are afraid that this will slow down their connection too much, but who needs more then 54mbps to surf the internet, even if wireless connections are only half-duplex?

Cheers, great blog :)

If this thing doesn't have a warp engine and replicator, I'm not interested. :)

Hey, a slimmed down version of OsX running on a USB key would surely be something wonderfull for techies.. I know that similar installation for windows do wonders..

Yeah, I've got a friend who told me that also.. I agree with pre-installing google toolbar, but not their desktop search engine.
the iPOD as gadget of the year? Eek, while being cool, it's not a very original choice..
While having it integrated into the TV set is cool, I don't think i'd be ready to pay the price for it. I would prefer to buy a seperate HD receptor with integrated hd.. would probably be alot cheaper.

Would this be intentional? :)

I wouldn't be surprised if it would.. Another one of those nasty MS tactics to incite people to switch.

Yeah, we'll probably see combo drives poping up everywhere in the market.. exactly like what happened when the DVD+R, -R, etc... came out.

The only problem I see is that the cost of Blu-Ray players are supposed to be WAY higher then the HD-DVD ones, how much will a combo drive cost at first?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"With all the new multitouch capable monitors coming out, which one is the best? With the release of Windows 7 I really want a touchscreen monitor for my desktop. I'm looking to get a Full HD monitor that supports multitouch and can still look great during gaming and movies. Which one has the best specs for the price?"
