35. You forgot about Xbox LIVE vs. Playstation Network. It will probably take about 2 years for those to be equal or even close. Also FF fans > Halo fans as you implied. Other than that you're right, they're even. Unless you just HAVE to have a first gen Blu-Ray player, they're even. (Which is a good thing)
Are these accessories compatible with the Gigabeat S? Is the connector the same?

MS is know to screw early adopters but this aint early. PMC platform has been out for years. Toshiba and MS turn all the attention to this new 30GB with wi-fi thing, and there has yet to be ONE, not ONE accessory for the S.
Screw camping out, that's crazy. I'm getting mine on ebay. I'll go up to $1200, any more that that is too much. And that's for the premium system only. (That's the only one that's launching right?)

1500? I don't know. Thing is that you won't just be able to go buy one for about 6 months especially in the UK. Ayone know when the silver version is coming out?
Wow, I know I'm not a Playstation fanboy, that video is way too long for me.

Look pretty good, if a little too minimalistic. Looks like the PSP, and thinking of that it will be cool to see the updates you can download over time.

The 360 dashboard looks better to me, but I think I'll like this one more because it has so many options and settings.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
