usually you can find preferences for your applications in your home directory's /Library folder.
Just let it keep going. sometimes it can take a LONG time to re-index what it needs to back up. it took my computer almost an hour of "Preparing Backup" before it started copying. It eventually worked though i just let it sit.

you could use quicksilver to set that application to run on a hotkey press.
also you can hit "space bar" when moused over the folder with the icon you are dragging and it will cause it to instantly spring.
please. please. please.

i think what it will ultimately boil down to is: What is the easiest way for me to play movie x on player y? Whatever that solution is, is the one that will take off. If it is easier for me to watch the video on my laptop with the drm, then that's probably what i will do, but if it requires some proprietary software or isn't compatible with what i have, then i'll hack it.
i think you guys are all missing the point. this is for the military to use on the ground where it can be thrown around and not take any damage. these things are tanks and it is really cool that they are using mac minis because of its smaller footprint.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I have a MacBook Pro and an Xbox 360 and I would like to get a 20- to 24-inch display that will support both devices. The speakers should be inbuilt, or there should be an aux out on the display to hook up external speakers. Help! Please!"
