I've hunted around in the prefs file and couldn't find anything. I don't think there was anything in the beta either so it doesn't look good.

Even if there were an option available, the graphics files within Safari 4 would need the images used for the old tabs. I'm doubtful they're in there but I'll have to poke around a bit.

In the meantime, everyone please file bug reports and ask them to bring this back!
Safari tabs on top were the greatest thing to ever happen to Safari. Putting them there was GENIUS! Seriously. Greatest move. Ever.

Here's why: http://tr.im/nPuv

There is no reason why they shouldn't still be doing this. At least make it an option! I'm dying inside today because of this.

The top bar is for the most part useless (but necessary). Combining the tabs with that space was a great move.

P.S. They also still have not fixed the bug which keeps you from using javascript to resize the browser when multiple tabs are open. Seriously? All they did was muck it up since the beta.
Yea, that'll never work. Please be serious.
Um. Motorola thinks the low end crap phone market is neglected?

I would like to hear what they think they've been releasing for the last 10 years.
Okay, the movie where Michael Jackson is a robot is called Moonwalker. Here are some links for your enjoyment:

In the video you see him transform into the robot.
I like how he also said that they could have beaten the iPod but they couldn't get the software up to snuff. Hasn't this always been Sony's problem - craptastic software? What does it take? Fire everyone and hire a new team who doesn't suck so bad.
They did the prank but failed it getting the lights to spell out anything meaningful. The picture on this post is a photoshop, the actual picture just shows scattered blue lights and you can't tell what they say at all.

The pranks was pulled off, but failed. But for $40k, I'd still be trying to convince people too.
I've had one of these for like 6 months. It's totally awesome. I took off the plastic casing around the chip to make it even smaller.

Not new, but still totally awesome. Got mine at PC CLub.
gPhone? Can we start saying gPhone?
Make it cheap and make it open, release a dev kit - and the community will write the software for it.

That is all.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What is the best wireless surround sound speaker solution? I have a home theater where running wires is just not feasible. I have my own speakers, so I don't want a system that has speakers with integrated wireless. I've done a far amount of research and have only come across a few companies that even offer a reasonable solution: KEF, Kenwood and Rocketfish. Is there anything else out there? What do you recommend? Thank you!"
