I don't mind them charging for the new app, but how many times can you rewrite the same app and keep charging for the new one? I guess we'll find out. "This just announced: Tweetie 3 for $2.99!!!"

My only real beef is that I paid $2 for Tweetie 1 and got nothing else except an announcement of Tweetie 2. For a paid app, I expect a few updates here and there even if they're working on a new version.
Productivity schmoductivity!

Right now I use Remember the Milk (mainly the iPhone app), but I'd love to give Things a try.
This is a small rant, but I think its valid.

I don't see why, in this day and age, we can't just do an upgrade and have it work. I'm a tech guy and I know what that means, but if apple can't make the upgrade process smooth then count me disappointed. Or old fashioned. Or whatever. Aside from the "spring cleaning" reason I'm not sure there's any technical reason to avoid a plain old upgrade. I'd love to read about it if there were.

I upgraded my MBP from Tiger to Leopard without problem so I'm trusting that the same will happen from Leopard to Snow Leopard. Come on Apple, don't let me down!
You can download the mysterious Mac app (or Aperture plugin) from http://return7.com. I'm not sure why it wasn't mentioned in the article.

I was going to use the Trails iPhone app to do this, but I like the wi-fi syncing of PlaceTagger so I might give this app a try instead.
I'm in. I'm pretty happy with their updater.
These things are awesome! I could use an SLR one.
I could always use another hard drive!
This would be great to scan receipts and tie them to regular photographs of all your high-priced home stuff as a sort of home inventory solution.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
