@R

word, the monthly service is the killer part of the deal for me. no thanks.

i have my PSPGO and LocationFree TV base and does the trick just fine (sure i need to either tether data to my phone or use wifi.. but still)
@chispito

yea, i actually saved my money as a kid and had a 3.5" casio tv. i was def the envy on the school bus and on trips :)

even hooked up my SNES w/a car ac adapter in the car. not the best view but did the trick :)

sweet! yea, i just got that Blast Off mini game and am enjoying it!

sure would be nice to get my burnout legends playable on the ps3 and hdtv w/my ps3 controller :)

however, let me use my PSP Go as an advanced remote for the PS3 and then my spending $250 on it seems a little more justified :P
really?? really??

why not just go and buy a PSP-3000?

i got a PSP Go and i got it based on the idea of NOT having UMDs and having to deal with that extra bulk; this just defeats the idea of the Go and its size.

UMD addon = pointless addon; buy a PSP3000 and save yourself a good $100 if you into the umds.

thats like buying a convertible version of a car and then asking for a hard cover shell. or something.. :P
nice to see this is finally rolling out.

as for only being able to use the copy once, who cares if you have the original bluray. you can easily rip m2ts to mp4/mkv if you have a laptop/desktop w/a bluray drive. just takes some hefty hdd space and decent spec'd cpu in your system. (bluray drives are now down to the $60s for non burning pc drive)

i assume all sony picture films will start including this. makes me wonder though, if you can use that digital copy on say a se phone or vaio laptop soon as part of their UX ecosystem.
agreed! i still wish we had more visualizers and an equalizer. :)

also, we need a playlist for videos too!! i have over 100 movies i'd like to group into lists like LOTR and Star Wars :)

but i do like the looks of these leaks if they be legit :P
come on

duh, you need to have your ps3 online/connected to the internet.

what do you think the ps3 also has a builtin direct link to the internet or its own cell broadcast tower?

common sense people, common sense...

yup, i'll stick w/my Locationfree TV setup and panel and psp :P

so true. so true.

sad that most companies selling laptops/desktops make a new machine suck so bad.

again, apple does NOT include bloatware when they ship. perhaps another reason why mac users are sold from day one.

i'm a hybrid user; windows, mac, and linux. but when i got my macbook air; it booted up to the desktop in 40secs (ssd) and no bloatware.

my hp dv6700t; struggled to the desktop in 1min and this was a powerful notebook too (penryn 2.5ghz, t9300). but once cleaned up, 40secs.

clean install FTW! :P
@Marius

dang! on a roll! 2 in a row!
that odst vid was fularious (f#$king hilarious) :P

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
