I miss the clie line, the fancy clamshell ones were released right after I bought the N760c, made me furious.

It's a shame it's XP as quite a few netbooks carry SSD's, and XP writes are very detrimental to SSD lifespan.
I hope 7 takes off.

You can also simply put these tablets behind an lcd display, which isn't portable but is cheaper than a cintiq.
My friends and I messed around with tablets at our animation school.

I have an eee, I'll give it a shot, it at least looks really nice.

Does it have tweaks to reduce writes?
I wanna know if I'm going to have to fix things for SSD.

The 360 had a year as a head start, and it's launch titles were weak.
I seem to remember a sizable dry spell of no games for it as well.

Also, multi-platform ports don't cater to any particular hardware, they have discrepancies both ways, never use ports to judge any hardware.

They're basically similar by form factor and low performance, I'd consider either for a small device to do basic things on the go.
Except the Eee PC has a realistic price.

"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
