He's a gigantic, psychopathic tit who's apparently been shoehorned in as the needlessly negative bastard of the judges--that's normally the job of Craig Revel Hallward on the British version of the show, but he seems to be usurping that role.
Pretty stupid that I know this about the show but hey, for each series that program's always on our telly and honestly it's not bad compared to a lot of other shows.
