I always found the name to be highly ironic considering Sartre was the one who said that "Hell is other people".
If I were Tim Cook, I'd sneak into Steve Jobs' office early on April 1st and replace his mouse with this just to watch him go off.
So that top 1% should be allowed to profiteer and deny claims because someone didn't put down they had mild acne as a teen. Yeah, totally appropriate.

Grayson had it right - we should apologize to the dead, the 44,000 per year that die because of the lack of health care affordability (according to the Stanford study).
The new os update screwed up the integration with my Ford Sync system in my car. It takes 20 minutes to index my 11GB of songs. And it has to do it every time I sync with iTunes.
Ugh, pay for managed copy? That seems like a good way to kill the feature...
Oh the humanity, you might have to put a gallon of gas in the fuel tank every 3 months!

Hopefully this system is also smart enough to figure out average gas age of the fuel in the tank and burn it if its starting to get too old.
My local freeway service patrol carries 5 gallons of gas (and will dispense you one gallon). They don't carry an equivalent amount of electricity at 220V (~3kWh) and the necessary charger.

If the car breaks down, yea it gets towed. But if it runs out of gas you go to the gas station, buy a 1 gallon plastic container, fill it with gas and go back to your car. There is no equivalent right now (though the idea of siphoning energy from another EV would be an interesting idea).
Only 132K? Who are they kidding. If the Volt has had 4 full production years by the beginning of 2015, that means GM will only have made 33K Volt/yr. Thats a very low estimate - their battery integration facility can do 125K batteries/yr full out.
There is enough Lithium Carbonate in the state of Nevada for over a BILLION Chevy Volts. Thats giving a Volt to every car driving American for the next 40 years, and by then we'll have whatever battery chemistry that will replace Lithium-Ion. Just in one state out of 50. Google Kings Valley Nevada, Clayton Valley Nevada, and Fish Lake Nevada.

Then there is harvesting it from seawater, which is still far cheaper than platinum per ton.
Why dont they buy Raser/FEV's tech? They've got an E-REV H3.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
