its about twice the processor of psp (600mhz compared to about 200mhz) and a lot more ram (128mb)and basically the same gfx chip as the dreamcast, as for the ds, a lot more powerful they have 2 30mhz chips, iphone also has a lot more storage remember as well as accelerometer, mic, camera, location aware etc, such potential.
i know this is still like a year from release bye the prototypes but no way they have the balls to release it looking like that, the 'skin' is just to grab attention until its final release. one other thing, they really are taking there time skinning wince arent they. It may look a bit like iphone interface but it isnt going to work like it, have the eventual ecosystem of accesories and software or even the syncing ease, you can copy the iphone but you cant make winCE into osx.
the death of the dreamcast had nothing to do with lack of love or good games (it had great games) it was sony having a dvd player at the right time that dvd was becoming popular and original psx backwards compatability, take them away and dreamcast would have wiped the floor.
why do you give this cheap knock off so much coverage, its never going to come out! its been about a year now and it has no operations, shows 2 screens and they havnt even completed the hardware, this thing would see the light of day for another year at least. as for comparing it to an iphone, why bother, its not even as good as the lg's the touch screen doesnt even accept input lol.
yeah, not much difference between ground breaking multitouch with osx and an lg LOL a touch screen makes not an iPhone
you mean apple makes its own boards (though pretty much none of the chips these days) but intend to word it badly, remember they choose efi over bios for a start, apple dont hold back, they exactly what they think makes their product better regardless of conciqences, sometimes this costs them, somtimes it costs us, thats why i love apple as nothing stops them doing it there way, sure a lot of people dont like that way for their products but if you do and the products suit your needs they are the best damn company out there.
you have the menus, upscaling of video and photos all use the 1080p.
"more of a price gouge than the $800 RAID card option in the Mac Pro"
the raid card WITH sas drive controller. thats why it costs that much.
er, appletv has hdmi/component and toslink.
or it means they are different devices and apple tv mainly uses your itunes library and computers HD, but you could just to other conclusions, duh
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
