My Dream App Winners Announced! {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Perfect answer. Yes you can look through a window, but now you can look through a window several miles away. I think that this is really a pretty cool idea. My work and my home are far away enough that the weather is different between the two. And even if there ARE other apps that do the same thing, doesn't mean that atmosphere isn't going to do it better.
And I work in an office with no windows. I'd like to look through A window, even if it is fake.
Comparing iTunes to diet soda {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}
Jun 30th 2006 2:26PM DRM being good or bad isn't the question here, it's whether if there should be a *universal* drm that will allow people to copy from one device to another. Yes audiocassetes did limit what you purchase to a single type player (cassette player), however, i can imagine you can see the problem if you took one of you favorite cassettes, and was allowed to play them on another cassette player simply because that cassette could only be played on a certain type of player.
It is my belief that DRM is a good thing. It really is. I see value in people being able to protect their assets, and if DRM was to be properly implemented for the *end user*'s need, this could really give us more freedom. More than cd players, more than cassette players, heck, even the 8-track :-)
