I asked my readers and Twitter followers to weigh in on what apps they regret buying a little over a week ago (which seems similar to what this post is about, Dave... ;-) ) and I compiled all the replies I received into a list at the end of the post. Feel free to add these there too if you like ;-)

I have an HP tablet that is my wife's that needs this.
You've misquoted him. I did too, but I knew "couch" and "pre-programmed" were dead wrong when I read this. I did a search and the consensus is that he said: “This isn’t the kind of game where you just end up on the sofa using some kind of preset waggle commands,” Tsunoda
I had it down as: "this isn't a game where you end up on the sofa just using some preset waggle commands"
This policy has been in effect for a while now. When returning from Christmas 2007, my wife spilt water into her first generation iPhone while we were flying to LA. We went to the Apple Store on the Promenade in Santa Monica and they replaced her iPhone with a refurbished one for $100 off retail and renewed her contract's start date.

I should note that no one knew about the policy until we spoke with a Genius at the Genius Bar, so that may be why some people didn't think it existed.
Do it. Do it.
You should check out FourTrack instead of Loopy. It is an actual 4-track recorder, it records high quality 44.1Khz and you can download .WAV versions of the tracks over wifi to your Mac / PC via a web browser.
Correct. How it works is detailed (somewhat) here:

Thanks for mentioning us first! Happy to be up there with Cursebird. Love that site!

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
