I agree with Justin about games that analyze what difficulty you should play right at the start of the game. I did the MW2 thing and it kept telling me regular and I played on Veteran and thought the game was a lot easier than MW1. I didn't have any trouble playing the game.
I hate the new cases. I feel l ike I'm going to break my disc everytime I try to get a game out. I've been dealing with dvd cases for ever and this is by far the worst idea. At least they could have made the centerpiece a little easier to dislodge the disc.
I've been listening for awhile now but I wondered today why Ludwig lives in Africa. It sounds like a scary place to be and wondered why he chooses to live there.
Awesome, I do 85% of my online shopping at amazon and usually just get cables at monoprice. If amazon can be close without me having to look through all the vendors and their shadiness, they will have 90% of my online spending.
This could be cool (to watch). I really liked the show that was on Syfy? that had gamers competing in some crazy challenges. WCG Ultimate gamer i think. If they can replicate that show in a way, I'm sure they'll make something decent.
Wow, the year I finally decide to buy Madden new when it comes out and this is what they're going to do. If they have put in the ability to do all this dlc then why can't they make it so I don't have to buy a new version next year.
When this happened to me (pre NXE) I found on some hardware modding forums that they thought that it was caused by the graphics portion of the machine heating up too quickly upon start aka if you boot straight into a game you'd be more prone to it. This seems to work with NXE on the fact that there is a lot more going on in the dashboard like the avatars loading and moving. Just a thought from someone still pissed about the 100 it cost to get their E74 fixed.
I'm incredibly upset that the first iphone won't have MMS. My past two phones could do MMS. I thought they were going to avoid these kinds of market segmenting. I can see the A2DP but to send a picture message? They better just release a new iPhone this summer so I can get it.
Good interview except for the whole circular conversation part. I'm glad something like this has popped up again. I hate how the consumers gets screwed when it comes to media. If I buy a cd, or dvd I want to be able to use it how I like. I don't want to pay for the same movie three times so I can watch it on my television, laptop, and iphone.

Same goes for these ebooks. The Kindle is an amazing device and just because they added a mediocre text to speech feature people shit bricks. If I wanted to actually hear an audiobook I would want it done by the author considering the emphasize he can use and how much more of an experience it would be then a computerized voice that takes the words you bought and says them.
We've had a display of this at Radioshack for over a week and already sold two. There is one phrase it says that sounds extremely sensual and gets a laugh everytime it happens.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
