Engadget has taken on a very obvious anti-Apple stance recently. I suspect that this may be due to all of the outrage from Apple haters over the number of Apple posts here on Engadget.

If you always want the latest and greatest, then you have to buy a new [INSERT TECHNOLOGY PRODUCT] at least once a year.

I decided between this monitor and the new Samsung 215TW this weekend.

The Samsung 215TW is superior in most aspects and is only $20 more. It was an easy decision to make.
>>4. Look at the left corner of the iPod in the second photo. The edge is consistent with all of the other photos. You just need to look carefully.

>>17. I doubt the wheel and progress bar are ever-present when viewing video. They probably appear only when the screen is touched, so that the user may access the interface if necessary. It disappears within a few seconds of removing the fingers from the screen. If you've used DVD playback software on a computer (in fullscreen mode), you should know that this mode of operation works very well.
Answers:

1. You can choose English as your default language as soon as you turn the unit on for the first time. I believe that Lik-Sang also includes instructions.

2. All your games will function on this unit.

3. Nintendo WiFi will function properly.

The Japanese DS is essentially identical to the US DS. Your DS lite will not be warrantied in the US, but with Nintendo's stallar quality, I wouldn't worry at all.
It's beautiful.

I broke down last night and decided to order one through Lik-Sang.

I've convinced myself that the brighter screens will make make this purchase a good one.
I can't wait anymore. It's time to conduct business with lik sang.

Reggie mentioned yesterday that the DS lite may not launch in the United States until late summer. Too bad.
I hope and feel that this means that we'll definitely be seeing the PS3 this year in the US.

If the sum in the first column (current cost) is not an error, the sum in the second column (future cost) must be, as it is a direct total of all component costs (and does not include extraneous costs as you claim the first column does).

This report is very poorly written and plagued with inconsistencies. It certainly seems much less valid than it did when I read it the first time.
The most unfortunate aspect of this news is that Sony very well may have convinced itself that a $600+ console will sell well. Sony's business strategies have been less than brilliant over the past few years...
1. VoIP
2. Web browser
3. GBA link
4. NA release date
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a solid state drive, around 32 to 64GB, for use in my web server. The drive will contain my web sites and the operating system, either Windows Server 2008 R2 or Ubuntu. Large storage is handled by a separate RAID array, so capacity is not an issue. Rather, I am looking for the fastest, longest-lasting, and most reliable drive under $150 that is suitable to my application. Any thoughts? Thanks!"
