Under $199.99, now thats optimistic.
Now that the iPhone is coming out, we have have SOMETHING new to dream about for the next two years...
I want to see a computer beat me at Risk!
Honestly, why are we being so pessimistic? If Apple is going to do something, chances are they will do it well. The cell phone is no different. Apple (hopefully) will create a well designed functional product that will (once again, hopefully) outdo all of the other mp3 phone Frankensteins on the market. As with contracts and service providers who knows. Personally, I hope that Apple makes the phone, and says to hell with the service providers. Then they could have an open SIM card slot in the back and sell the iPhone at any apple store and not have to worry about providers, contracts, and angry fanboys. I'm optimistic about this product. Lets just hope it works out.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"
