"we'd go ahead and wait for that version of the Dude to preside"

But the dude ABIDES...
They've been dropping hints about it on air for a little while.

I noticed the Daily Show's upgraded graphics a few weeks ago (in the show opening the monitor that used to be in portrait mode showing the logo is now landscape, the background graphics have been upgraded and the on-screen graphics have a bit more "sparkle" particle effects to them).

Colbert mentioned "we're going HD soon" a few weeks ago, and said "good bye, set" at the end of last wednesday's show :)
"Palm's specifically saying that they're looking to grow carrier and geographic coverage"

Hey Palm, how about releasing the damn phone in Australia and Singapore?

I've only been waiting a year to get my hands on a WebOS device. As someone who kind of needs a new phone, Android is starting to look mighty attractive. And those 2 year contracts will mean there's quite a long time to wait before I can look at a WebOS device again.

Move now, or ... don't.
I think Rita's killing was Arthur's goodbye, a calling card to make it obvious to Dexter who did it. It didn't fit the pattern (although as pointed out by others, it kind of did), but it served a different purpose.
$229 on contract?

Fail.

:(
SciFi's were terrible last year and early this year. A huge purple bar across 1/3rd of the screen.

Happily, SyFy's popups are a lot less obnoxious now. Semi-transparent grey bar, slightly shorter.
Watch out! Oprah's hungry!
Is this a 4th or 5th season renewal for Burn Notice?

I thought a 4th season was already a go.
I can't believe noone's pointed out the Magna-Doodle-iness of the red one :)
^^^ Best comment so far on this story :)
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
