its so amazingly awesome! Us Vermonters werent supposed to get it for another 4-5 years...
Ok, I have to disagree with the fact that the US doesnt have terrestrial digital television support. I live in the middle-of-nowhere rural Vermont (in the norhtern US for those of you who havn't a clue where I'm talking about) and even I get digital channels, more than ten in fact. I should guess that this feature will be coming to the US not long after other areas.
I'd be listening to my favorite new song by Oasis -its not really new, but it is to me!
That would be awesome... its shiny...
@15 - Ohmygod! why didnt I know that?!?! Thank you soo much... I feel like a fool...
I cant wait to sign up for this, theres only one problem...even if i get in,, My ps3 is stuck in HDMI mode and I cant get it out! I went to my uncles and we had it hooked up to his LCD, but here at home I dont have an HDMI enabled tv! Anyone have advice? I can navigate the interface pretty well, so if someone could post step by step directions (with number of clicks on the d-pad etc.) I could probably do it... Anyone got the time!?!
I hate to go the way of Jack (you all know who im talking about), but seriously - "In order to keep you focused on the task at hand, the combo meter begins to drain between gaps in the killing, so best to head towards large occupied rooms. " - do we really need a game that tells people to run into the most occupied room they can find and open fire for the fun of it? This is just asking for trouble, and with games like this, no wonder the media attention is negative. This game concerns me like no other I have seen so far, I know I wont be buying it...
Maybe its just me, but I REALLY want an updated PS store and downloadable HD movies, yknow?
This version must not be finished, as it displays that the person is currently reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone", when JK Rowling has forbidden anyone from publishing Harry Potter as an Ebook. Other than that, looks awesome!
Dont go any farther!!! I've got some guys wi-fi connection!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm heading to university next year, and I've purchased a MacBook. I'm also taking my four year old desktop, just in case I'm left with no computers when the MacBook is being repaired or whatnot. With only two USB ports on a MacBook, I want a Bluetooth mouse. Budget is about $100, and of course, it needs OS X support. Thanks for the help!"
