My wife spilled beer once at my iBook. I was fast and removed the power cable quick, put it upside down and removed the battery without even trying to turn it off. I shook it upside down and dried with paper towel. A few hours later I turned it on and it was working, tried all keys and they were working miraculous. Now, its hers laptop, I got a MBP :-)
You know, I was using iTunes Store to download TV Shows as I moved to Spain but then I got sick of the country restrictions and having to buy Gift Card over eBay to bypass it. It would take a couple days for new episode to be aired on iTunes which was annoying as well. My answer to this new price tag is just one now. Torrent!
Just got it working after many attempts: Below is what didn't fix and what really fixed.

Did not fix:
Mount as USB
Verify and Repair via Disk Utility
Access Folder

Did fix:
Change access from with Account to With AirportExtreme Password

This sux, I loved the ability to have accounts for filesharing.
Gizmodo.com has a video showing how to solve the issue ppl is having on it not working.
I dont know about NA but in Europe this will probably show at almost 0 cost with contract. Look @ Samsung F700 that everyone said it would cost more then the iPhone and came out with Vodafone for almost 0 with a 12 months contract.
1 word. Where is the f*$&ing email search that I have only seen on Blackberry. Mobile email systems without a search sucks! I have to carry an iPhone and a Blackberry cuz I can't stand no cut and paste, no email search and typing on a glass. This baby seems to have everything and hope email search, easy 2 clicks new email/reply will come with it.
This is a rip-off. Not for the $20 but for Apple attitude and way to take care of their customers. Definetely software has its value but Apple should find other ways to make the difference then just put the hand on customers pocket like that. Customers that recentely bought an iTouch should return it and buy a new one when is out with the new version. Not for the $20 but to give Apple a slap on the face.
If you have a chance to test the external DVD burner with a macbook or macbookpro please post the result.

Thank you for the great coverage
I like the design and at the end of the day you are paying only $30-40 difference from a similar size external bulky, ugly USB DVD writer. $30-40, I drink that in 1hour max. So, if you need an external DVD writer this one looks good. Hope I will be able to plug it in my wife's Macbook that only has a DVD reader and she always complaints that she needs to use my laptop to burn her DVDs.
I was wondering if the external usb optical drive for the Air would work on a regular Macbook. Its a great price for a fine piece of art and as I have the first Macbook Core Duo without DVD burner would come handy. The site says requirements Macbook Air.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"What's the best gaming laptop for under 1,500 bucks? I had my eye on the P7805u (Gateway), but it seems Best Buy has run out for the time being. Also, as a secondary question, I like the specs on brands such as iBUYPOWER and CyberPower and the like, but are they reliable? I'm a little worried about buying labels that aren't huge like Dell, Gateway, etc. Thanks!"
