Report says Nextel waived early termination fees for the government {Engadget}
Jun 13th 2008 4:03PM Wow, if you actually knew anything about the government, you would know that most federal employees don't get free health care. It costs.
Second, some folks enter the government and then they leave or get fired or whatever. Those blackberries and phones still belong to the government or office. So what happens when that happens?
Third, if an officeholder does not get reelected, then what happens to all those blackberries and phones? They have to be shut off. So it wouldn't make sense to have an ETF.
And the comment doesn't even make sense. How would not paying an ETF be another reminder that "the ones in power don't give one flying fuck about the ones who put them there"?

Actually, the kung fu teacher would not have any liability unless he knew or had reason to know that Charley Manson was going to use this new found abilities to hurt or kill someone. If I taught people how to shoot a gun and they go off to shoot someone, I am not liable. If someone came up to me and told me that they wanted to learn how to shoot a gun to kill someone and I taught them how, I would be liable.
And the other stuff, eh. MS claims that they have to keep the price of their OS high because of the theft rate. But if the prices were lower, they wouldn't have such high theft rates. But because of the costs of R&D, I believe they should be able ot charge whatever they like in a capitalist market. Just my two cents.

Over-sized, greedy super corporations? Isn't Nintendo a large corporation? Maybe I'm crazy, but last I saw, Nintendo is a large corporation.
I'm not a fanboy or anything and I owned every console until this time around. I'm happy that these games are coming to my xbox. I'd love to get streets of rage on xbla.
Palm delays US Treo 750 into oblivion {Engadget}
Nov 28th 2006 1:32PM
I just read that Palm blamed the delays of the treo 750 on a U.S. carrier who was late in securing the treo 750's compatibility with its network, but declined to say which carrier it was. So maybe it wasn't the FCC's fault.
