Why the heck are HD-DVD/Blu-ray laptops coming out with less than HD resolution screens? It's not like 1920x1200 at 17 inches is a technical impossibility (Dell used to have that resolution available on their 15 inch displays). Seriously, what's the deal?
I was hoping for a picture of a Chinese fighter jet.
Ummm, an accuracy on 0.2 degrees C is pretty terrible for gauging body temperature. A temperature difference of 0.05 is significant for humans.
And yes, (at least with the Sleeptracker) the alarm goes off at the time you set if the device doesn't detect any awake moments within the specified window.
I've got a Sleeptracker. They do work, but they have two critical faults. One, it's uncomfortable to wear in bed, and two, the alarm is easily muffled by your pillow. This product appears to solve both problems. The only problem I can see is a crappy product name.
Not that it matters. If the tax were repealed, carriers would probably continue to charge and pocket the 3%, and just change the name to some BS like "regulatory recovery fee".
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a device that will stream sound from one source to several recipients. For example, I want to stream sound from my TV or stereo to my phone or MP3 player that has radio and Bluetooth capabilities. I have looked into radio transmitters and they seem like a decent choice, but I can't find one that uses external power (USB or from the plug) and I would want one with a transmit range of around 50 meters. Thanks!"
