Brick By Brick: James May's Lego house comes down {Autoblog}
Sep 23rd 2009 11:25AM he built it intending for Legoland Windsor to take it, but they subsequently decided they wouldn't pay for the logistics to transport it. Why that location? No idea, guess Legoland never wanted it built on their premises directly, which is a hint they weren't going to follow through, but hey.

iTunes Store now infected with variable pricing, Amazon still $0.99 {Engadget}
Apr 7th 2009 5:42AM dunno if anyone else has noticed, but having tried both I tend to find the amazon tracks are louder, and align better with all my other music. All my recent itunes purchases have sounded really quiet, and since apple don't do any form of sound levelling on their ipods it gets a bit annoying, so i'll be purchasing all my tracks from amazon from now on

Jan 6th 2009 12:38PM i agree, though arguably it was inevitable, with most photo systems dealing in geo-tagging and facebook photos' being all about facial tagging, it wasn't going to be long before one of the big names just combined them, it's just scary that's it's happened now.
All our lovely Jacqui Smith has to do (uk data mining queen from hell) is link this to the cctv camera network in place in the uk, automate the facial recognition confirmation system and she's away tracking people.
Having said that, if apple have just managed to release this, I'd be highly surprised if the major military/security groups of the world (fbi/mi5 et al) haven't already got this tech in place
