seriously?
non-oem cable-card is fantastic news for the US, but diddly for me in Canada (as usual) , oh well. I really wanted an update on the mesh webguide.
Cool, Wear them across your eyes and look like giordi leforge.....or across the back of your head and look like lando's helper from empire.
Sonovabitch..................
This is what happens when MS stops relying on crap hardware partners (dell, HP, Motorola, linksys, and on and on) and they make hardware and software ala Apple. please ms, keep going in that direction, it works for the 360 and will work for zune HD.
Nice write up....Take that Lanier.....Pow!

just kidding Chris....I value your cynicism (probably because you are usually right).
Hi All,
I purchased this laptop about 3 weeks and unfortunately I am having a lot of problems with it. I have had pretty good luck with dell in the past so I am a little disappointed to be having problems 3 weeks in. Issues started about a week ago. Random crashes. When I plugged in the laptop, the power meter would report - plugged in, not charging. Battery will not charge. Crashes have gotten continually worse. Called XPS support (which surprisingly wasn't bad). They shipped out a new power brick. - No difference. I now have to ship the laptop to dell for repair. For the first week A+, next two weeks F.

Hopefully the repair will resolve the issue.
What a complete disappointment 4.5 has been. Complete waste of time. I almost feel guilty for convincing friends to invest time in seasons 1-3, as season 4 hs been such a complete let down. 2 episodes left, keep adding stupid questions instead of resolving old ones.....Earth/Home. Peace/Death of Cylons, resolution of Cavil, Mystery of Hera, What is starback, these things should have been resolved throughout season 4.5 not all saved for the final 2 hours.......crap, total crap....RDM=complete loss of credibility. BSG = Heroes

"I commonly need to boot a system from an external disc and take a snapshot of the host system. I also then need to burn a copy of the image to a DVD. While I can do it with two separate external devices, and two power supplies, and two I/O cables, it'd be nice to find a small dual-drive enclosure. It would need to have USB, eSATA, and FireWire. Either slim-line or half-height bay for the optical burner would be fine, and space for either a 2.5- or 3.5-inch hard disc. Any ideas?"
