Too bad Japan's the only place where you have the option of getting a 160gb 2.5" hard drive in place of the optical drive to complement the main 1.8" hard drive in it.
I just hate this whole current generation. For me, the Playstation brand has been the best in my opinion, having the best balanced huge library of games equally on all genres and this is due to their "normal" price and having a huge install base which won't happen with the PS3 this time.

I don't want the 360 because of all its hardware issues, runs loud, not balanced library but yes so far a better library of games than the PS3.

Just forget the fricking Wii, I don't want a rehashed Gamecube with motion controls, I don't care for Nintendo anymore, sure I grew up with them as a child with Mario but they've lost me ever since the N64, they were great up to the NES and SNES where the Playstation took over by having a large library of games balancing Western and Eastern style and all genres. I don't care about Nintendo, I don't see whats so great about them anymore. I don't care about motion controls, I want advanced games, not fruity crap on the Wii and DS. I know I'm in the minority but whatever. All the Nintenwhores will be coming up and bitching at me.

Its price is high solely because of Blu-Ray, otherwise it would be the same price as the 360 Premium. And even then, it has a bigger hard drive, built in Wifi and HDMI 1.3 whereas the Elite still has the 1.2 standard, I know that matters to barely anyone.

I had laughed when I heard the 360 came with DVD as its predecessor but now I do regret Sony putting Blu-Ray in the PS3. They should have made it external like the 360's HDDVD drive. The price of the PS3 would be cheaper, people would STFU, buy it, there'd be a much larger install base, more games would be made for it because its all about money, then more people will buy it because of all the great games coming out, etc. The price is killing it and Sony is already losing money on it.

Looks like the Blu-Ray is a Trogan Horse for the PS3.

I do like them for letting you replace the hard drive with any 2.5" drive and other features, making it much more open than the 360.

This generation just sucks in general, you guys know the Playstation 1 and 2 were excellent, and its a shame its the price that has ruined it for the PS3, just like Nintendo still using cartridges for the N64 that doomed it to never be as great as the NES and SNES.

I hate now hearing of rumors of every fricking PS3 game not made by Sony to come to the 360, we never would have heard this on the PS2 for instance and its all because of its high price and low install base and difficulty and expense to develop for. We're gonna be stuck with crap because of the Wii and DS raking in the cash. F you casual gamers, F you.

Lets hope Sony learns and will improve upon with the PS4. Come on Sony!
Lol, beer kills brain cells. : )
Okay, I just saw a bit of the video and it looks EXACTLY the same as the first Shin Budokai, are you sure you didn't upload the wrong video? I can't tell the difference between this and the first, I've loved the Budokai games on the PS2 and Shin on PSP but this looks the exact same as the first, WTF?
Should have released it for the DS, sure the hardware limitations would have held it back but its the DS baby, everyone in Japan has or will get one, profits will be rolling in baby. The DS was the ideal platform.
Alright, I'm afraid I've never seen any Japanese that are Americanophiles, just seen a lot of annoying white people where I live that go crazy about Japan just from watching their cartoons (whoops, I called them cartoons!), comics, videogames, etc. Just about of this, they want to learn the language, score with a Japanese chick, live/work/die in Japan, etc. I don't understand how Japan's soft/pop-culture can make so many people go gaga about the country, its amazing. This is how they project their power and influence, they don't need a stinking military, just make everyone love Japan through their animation, comics, cars, computers, videogames, etc. Those Japanese are really smart shrewd fellas, brainwashing all the white people here.

And I don't quite understand why just about every American otaku/Japanophile is white, not trying to be racist, just wondering about the correlation, not trying to flame here so please don't flame me. : )
I feel so sorry for Japan, I don't get why there's such a fascination with Japan with so many white people especially. They just ogle that country to shit, dang. Poor Japanese, having all these white people coming there.
I'm just wondering, is the creator of VG Cats, Scott Ramsoomair Indian or what? I think by the last name, he sounds Indian?
God damn it Joystiq, SHUT THE FUCK UP about the PS3 okay? We know you hate it to death, that its the worst system ever created, Sony will crash and burn and die along with the pathetic, miserable PS3 and anyone stupid to have bought it considering buying it may die an early, slow, painful death. We know the Wii and 360 are our saviors of this generation and Sony is just flat out evil and awful.

Just shut up with this bias, it is absolutely disgusting, god, why the hell do I come here!?
I don't think its as bad as you say dthorpe, looks pretty solid to me. I am surprised that the thicker and higher end S6F series also from Asus doesn't have a webcam and fingerprint reader for instance but this does. I wish the S6Fs came in all sexy black like this one. And how does it look cheaper and inferior to the X505?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
