@Ghost

I have a cable card and a 2 tuner DVR. I can record 2 different shows on the DVR and watch a 3rd show "live" via the cable card that is in my TV. However, my cable company, Comcast, does not charge me for the cable card.
I have a Tivo and a HD Motorola DVR from Comcast and they are simply not in the same league, barely they same sport.

The ease of use of a Tivo is comparable to an ipod in that an absolute retard, or your/my wife could pick it and make it work without a single question.

I have been on the phone with Comcast 6 times in 2 months and I'm on my 2nd Comcast box in as many months. My Tivo I’ve had for three years without a single problem. The quality of the two is just incomparable. The Comcast box is either rebooting, stuttering, dropping the audio or video or both, or some other screw-up that my Tivo has NEVER done.

When the Tivo series 3 comes out, I'll drop the Comcast box like the piece of $h!t that it is.
I sent an email to the company and this was their response...

Dear Mr. Mendelson,

Thank you for your interests in our product.

As announced, we plan to launch our product in U.S. from July 2006.

The product launch into the EU market with SD PVR wil be two months earlier.

We expect that the retail price for ACO-200HD would be around $700-$800, considering that the retail price for TiVo's Series 3 model would be around $800-$1000 from late 2006. As you probably know, TiVo's Series 3 model has very similar spec to ours, but we offer ACO service additionally.

Thank you again for your interests and please do not hesitate to contact me for any question that you might have.

Best Regards,

Angela

....I'll take one please.

"I'm in the market for a new laptop, and I want a 13-incher. I need something with a great keyboard for typing, as this will mostly be used for note taking in class. I am absolutely smitten with the XPS 13, but I'm afraid that with its age Dell is going to give it an update soon. Any advice for someone in my shoes?"
