When again did Ghost save your life?I can't remember the part where he saves Roach from a bullet...
Ok, seems to be working again...

@Shinigami: Snap! I'm a Pc too!

@Chibi Chaingun - blackhivemedia.com: Yes, actually, as long as they keep selling them in the foreseeable future, it's highly probable at least one person will but one a month. I may have exageratted *slightly*, but the point remains

@Eric: Thanks :)
I've tried to reply thrice now... WTF?
Let's be honest here, From Ninty's stratospherical height, they can only go down, since they're saturated the market so much that everyone and their dog has two Wiis and all it's peripherals... All of which have a profit, not loss.

Sony, on the other hand, is the middling player in Japan's console market, and everyone who doesn't have one is holding back for the "inevitable" price cut and / or slim (they hope it's inevitable, anyhow :) )

Microsoft is the bottom feeder in Japan, having a couple of great spells when they secured some important games (citation needed :p , but they usually go back down to bottom after a month.

My point? they only way Microsoft can have negative grow in Japan is if they stopped selling X360s... There's not less they can sell without that number being zero.
Considering your song(?) is in Spanish, and most joystiqers are English speakers, how would it shame them to not know the song? And without the backing song?

I think people say that because we are widely regarded as the most intellectual beings on the planet, being the only species to develop machines, space travel, manufacturing, art, etc. Now, that doesn't necessarily mean we should kill every other species to save ourselves, mind.

Another reason could because it's natural order to protect yourself and your species over another, and we're all on this team called "humans".

Obviously, I do feel that we should use animal testing if it means saving lives, but I justify this to myself because I think those hundreds of rats died to saves millions of humans.
Hi Joel,

I am honestly curious on your position on how many lives need to be saved in order for cures developed faster by animal testing to be justified. I think that wasn't put so elegantly, therefore an example:

If a cure was found for cancer X (say, heart), which kills say Y million / year (say, 1 million), and the scientists say it saved them Z years (say 4 years ) developing it because they could trail it on animals first, what would the total need to be roughly? (in my made up numbers example, 4 million would be saved, as the rest after the 4 years would've been saved by the non-animal tested cure).

Also, if a member of your family or yourself had a disease which had a cure created, but used animal testing, would you boycott said cure? I do not wish cancer on any person, not you or anyone else, so please don't take this question that way.
My comment was done tongue-in-cheek, as I know there aren't too many game devs reading this comment board with loads of spare time, but I did mean I would so play the game for sh!ts and giggles.

However, I was rather serious whilst replying the the pro-PETA nut, not quite grasping the implications if the medical world do not use animal research in search for curing diseases.
Can somebody release a game about killing PETA members? I would so buy that game, especially if they spew out their batsh!t rhetoric before i pull the trigger,,,,

"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
