$60+ for an iPod case that doesn't do a damn thing to protect the screen. Whoever buys this (style aside) is an idiot.
As an added bonus, the case doubles as a 3 million candle power lamp, sure to brighten up even the darkest of mancaves.
Too bad this is Midway. They'll find some way to make it less fun than it could be.
Or you could just get two 8GB SDHC cards for $35 each :)
Laff at the Mass Effectlolz.

Well played sir.
Reading this post you're obviously completely oblivious to the debacle at hand with the Crackdown Halo 3 beta access.
I'm more interested in why Major Nelson announced it was live a little after midnight last night, and there is still nothing. I'm assuming some Microsoft monkey put in 5 PM PST as the release time, which is why Europe seems cool to ride.

I could wax poetic about this snafu, but I'd also like to note how pissed I am they didn't just make this thing publicly available on marketplace. Most of the problems people are running into this morning besides the Crackdown issue, are those who still haven't gotten their Rule of 3 and friends and family codes via e-mail--which is likely due to their e-mail service providers.

Bah.
You can paint a turd gold...
Hah, Rich don't bite you're tongue. I agree, if Halo 3 isn't coming out until (god knows when) next year and we already have TV ads, a little something besides sketches for Fable 2 would be nice...if it in fact existed.
I can verify the units they use at these events are modified dev kits. They do have larger HDD and the SDK on them, amongst some other goodies. They were like this at X06, and they were like this at the Live Arcade Party in San Francisco several months ago.

Nothing to see here. Move along now.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
