Looking forward to using the new layout. Some of the fonts though... they need to change.
And if you read on about this laptop, it actually sits quite well and comfortably on one's lap. The design isn't horrible - just risky.
You might want to see a doctor on that one. Doesn't seem normal to me.
When was the last time you saw a 12 minute continuous shot? That limitation is there because of the file system, and you will probably never notice it.
You answered your own questions. Audio outputs with text-to-speech synthesizers are likely, and the files could probably be printed out on a braille printer. The computer has a VGA output, so a sighted person could probably organize the files and whatnot. A new text file is probably made by a specific button or each time the machine is turned on. It's not rocket science. It's a little short sighted to think that computers only have visual elements.

Also, Mike: If you were an ATM manufacturer, would you go through the trouble of making two different sets of buttons when one set could suit everyone's needs all the time? It's a simple cost saving element.
Or you can keep your regular phone, buy a Chumby that you can't accidentally leave on a train going to Manhattan, and save $260 in the first year, and $360 every subsequent year if you're on Verizon.
Props to my bro for still getting blog work.
I guess if you can afford one now, you can afford another one in three years if it dies on you.
Someone didn't put on their sense of humor this morning. Besides, it's *almost* two and a half people. Roughly, but not quite.
You know, you can just move those sliders down if your computer can't handle the load. That's what enables that Engine to keep on living - they allow you to run the games on lower end computers, but have the upper graphics range to keep the current gen gaming rigs interested.

From a business stand point, developing one engine that will last for 8 years is a serious benefit. How often has a game been delayed because they keep reworking that new engine?
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I am looking for a 12- or 13-inch ultraportable that can also play modern games at a reasonable level, for less than $1,000. I know the brainiacs out there can help me out. Love the site, thanks!"
