That is hands down the stupidest comment I've read on here in a long time. I had to read it again in *Lynx* just to make sure it was as stupid as I thought it was.
Is it sad that I totally want one of those for my one-bedroom apartment? :(
Yup, same situation here... Until they offer hundreds upon hundreds of gigs w/ flash, I've learned to live with it. Hell, I still use my 4GB iPod Mini from time to time and it doesn't kill me. Still better than pockets full of cassette tapes.

And I can't help but laugh that we're all bitching about 16GB on a wafer-thin touch-screen device from the future. C'mon! Remember when we were kids? I was stoked just to get my hands on a friggin' 100mb zip drive, let alone multi-touch, wifi, cover flow-sportin' madness. One question I have is if it'll let you stream from an iTunes instance a la Apple TV. Now THAT would be cool...

Oh, and get off my lawn!!! =)
iTouch? And so begins its new name!!
Um, it's called iTunes Plus. *Much* higher bitrates and no DRM. Check it out. You'll be pleased.
@Khris

Does that shield prevent the touch-screen from working?
Wow, someone taking the time to post a comment simply to reiterate how "straight" they are. Me thinks thou dost protest too much...
They are in serious need of a clipart update. Figure 602 is plain AWESOME!
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a pair of quality headphones that aren't seemingly made of glass. I'm an avid BMXer which causes me to frequently bash on any type of technology that joins me for my daily riding. I've been through the higher quality headsets in the Skullcandy line as these are supposed to be built for "abuse," which is laughable. I cant wear earbuds or canal buds, as my large ears seem to have a repelling property upon anything that sits in them. Wired or Bluetooth doesn't really matter, but I need something that can hold up to taking a few hits every now and again. I'm trying to keep 'em under $150. Thanks!"
