EXACTLY the only thing I really care about as well. We need an answer!
Sub,

The video processing in most receivers is a little behind. I for instance didn't really care too much about that since all of my content will coming in at 720 or 1080 already.. However, the room correction stuff such as Muti EQ XT is a sizable step up from even the regular Mutli EQ. All off the Audacity stuff is also a big help.
Steven Kim,

I just picked up a 4310 from Magnolia at Bestbuy for $1750 I didn't have a hard time getting them to offer me that price. So far I have been VERY impressed with the unit. It was a bit more then I wanted to spend especially considering I was looking at a 3808 as well. The Multi EQ XT does a great job. I am currently 5.1 but I think I am going to fill in the front heights and use PL IIz since I don't have space behind the viewing area for a 7.1

connecting the world.... err electronics together.

Check out the No Agenda Podcast for information on the New world order and one world bank haha.

Show me a better waterproof camcorder?

I have been waiting on pre-order to get one of these for the summer on the boat and the jetski.

I agree I have one of them from the Beta test, but I was so annoyed with the sluggish interface and the fact they dropped the stage 6 content I have not turned it on in months. It was pushed up to the bedroom tv and barely got any use there too before I gave up. I am enjoying my WDTV box in that room much more.

I will probably flick it on this week though to give it another chance. Having the network connection and HULU seems to be an advantage.

A few items from CES looked interesting but then a day or 2 later i forgot what they even were so I guess nothing notable for me.

Picked one up last night.. Works amazing well, It will not replace he HTPC downstairs but I have one of the Divx boxes in the bedroom right now from beta testing it. The divx box interface is slow and a pain to use. Does not play bearly any file formats and even gets out of sync quite a bit. The ONLY advantage it has is networking wired/wireless. The WD box beats it in EVERY other way. The interface is simple and QUICK. Its going to stay up in the bedroom. Might even get one for my parents so I can send stuff to them on a USB stick or a HD to watch.

Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"For a long time I have been searching for a portable device where I can store all of my CDs in MP3 format and stream the songs wirelessly to my HiFi system. The portable device must I've tried FM transmitters, they all suck. I don't want a docking station. Any help? Thanks!" have a display so that I easily can scroll through the playlists (I don't want to use a TV or monitor). I suppose that there must also be a second device that is connected to the HiFi system that would receive the wireless streams from the portable device.
