yeah, I work at best buy, and we just got done with a clearance on these sets.

That would hurt the retailer not Microsoft, Microsoft would still make the same amount of money. Now if your talking about Microsoft selling it to the retailer for cost and the Retailer making about a 5 to 10% profit, that would make sense. Other then that, the retailer already sells it pretty close to cost. Same with computers.

they already have a video camera app, you don't have to jail break your iphone to use it.

Because for most people, there tv isn't near there computer, and they don't want to deal with the hassle of hooking up to cables, this is so they can watch off a hard drive of 50 gigs, and stream from there computer as well.

Something you should know, if your like alot of mac or ipod users, you buy some or all of your music on itunes, its easy and quick. When you hook up you ipod to a xbox, you can only play non copy-righted songs. You can't play videos off it, you cant do a lot. Apple tv is for people like me, who have an xbox, AND and ipod/mac. So video games are nice, but so is not opting for a "hd-rom" and having to worry about what movies are coming out on blu-ray instead.

Its called making things simply thats all.

People should stop being idiots, It's a product from apple! A lot of people "who don't pirate" buy the shows off itunes, making this perfect for siting at home with you wide screen and being a your rich selfs.

As far as the product goes, i wouldn't go for it. There seems to be more products out there that are not only better but cheap as well. As far as catachip and some/rest of you are concerned....So he didn't know that he was a president, well so what? Many Americans can not even tell you what the second or first parts of the constitution, or tell you many other fact. Second, directly to catachip get over it, its a blog. I hate to say this, but if your annoyed then stop reading. It is a freaken blog, and who gave you the right to express you feelings on how the author can or cant right? The constitution, but you don't live here. Moral of the story? Don't get "irritated" because so author of some blog used the word Benjamin. If your getting made at him for trying to be witty as well, you might as well get mad at hip hop artists that use that word, they are trying to be witty. We have two different cultures, and two different ideas of what witty is. Sorry to be off topic, thats all i have to say.
