HTC Touch Diamond soft keyboard comes to other WinMo phones {Engadget}
May 14th 2008 1:14AM WinMo has had touchscreen keyboards before the iPhone, it's just that the power users who use WinMo phones prefer the increased reliability of a physical keyboard.
Wii Fanboy Review: LostWinds {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}
May 14th 2008 1:05AM And the thing is, you don't even die, right? I haven't finished it but so far it seems like if you die you just wave over Toku and he revives with full health.
Wii Fanboy Review: LostWinds {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}
May 14th 2008 1:02AM Since it's supposedly not very long, I don't think it would be possible for it to get too tedious. I haven't finished it yet, but that's because I'm taking my time to savor it. It's really just enjoyable to play.
My Impressions as a King {Nintendo Wii Fanboy}
May 13th 2008 9:29PM There's a way to link purchases to your my.nintendo.com account, and I think they might track your games through that if you need a replacement. They might also just look at the games on your Wii and redownload them for you or something like that, but I don't know how that works.

FunPidgin: The result of an open source instant messaging spat {Download Squad}
May 13th 2008 8:42PM Well, the resizing thing is actually a plugin you can use in Pidgin. Also, I'm pretty sure in Pidgin 2.4.2 which is coming out Thursday or so, they put an option to manually size the input area in the preferences so everyone should be happy. This is kind of a stupid fork in my opinion, because the issue is really minor compared to some of the other stuff the Pidgin guys have done, and it seems like when faced with enough pressure they do back down from some of their decisions. For example, you can now view protocol icons in the buddy list again, but after not having them I realized I don't really need them anyway. Furthermore, I don't know whether the "developers" of FunPidgin actually coded the "new" features or just took them out of older versions of Pidgin.
AMD fires two execs, starts "Central Engineering" group {Engadget}
May 13th 2008 7:55PM Huh. Nonexistant upgrade path, like my AM2 board that got BIOS updates for Phenom processors right *before* the Phenom launch? Their processors don't suck, they just haven't changed much since when they were raping Intel with K8, whereas Intel evolved (or devolved, since Core is closer to PIII than P4) and started owning.
