yeah, stores have had these in for weeks now. the stores that dont have probably sold out of them, it took a while for inventory to be replinished after the initial shipment here.
sprint and vzw have never had evdo roaming agreements, though they do have 1x. alltel and sprint were evdo partners, but in the areas vzw took over that is no longer true. for comparison, vzws broadband network included 280m people. as one who carries phones from both carriers in a major metro evdo rev a area, i can attest that the bgr speed test was very legit and my sprint phones are much faster then their vzw counterparts
@originator

how does sprint gimp hardware again? the pre has the fastest processor this side of the pond (along with the 3gs, true), the htc devices have come over exactly as is and they are mandating that all feature phones (including the new instinct, which is not a smartphone) have wifi. vzw may rob phones of memory and processing power, but sprint has never done anything of the sort.
the omnia II uses this as well, and its horrible. even though it said it was connected, and after i typed in my network password, i still couldnt connect. i had to trick it into going to the old-school winmo wifi connection screen to properly set up a network
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm looking for a wireless trackpad to use with my older (2.5 or so years old) C2D MacBook that's perpetually docked to my home theater. Something sleek, thin, not too small, made of high quality materials. Ideally, it would natively support all of (Snow) Leopard's multitouch inputs, and even more ideally, it would have a charging dock / base. The only problem is that I'm not sure that such a thing even exists. Think you can throw me a bone?"
