- Zune software should also function as a media server (just like iTunes and WMP) so I can use with my Roku
- build a hardware adapter so I can plug in the Zune into iPod cables in cars. Never understood why they didn't shoot for hardware compatibility. As long as all car manufacturers are not offering a Zune option but only iPod options this will never go anywhere.

Simple formula with Engadget:
Technology that's useful, multi-featured and priced for the masses = meh
Technology that does one thing and only barely so plus pricing for the enthusiast = Yeah!

It's a not so subtle form of technology elitism.

At any one point there were mutliple representatives from three different companies in the room to set up a cablecard PC: Dell, Time Warner, Microsoft.
It's that or simply pay $9 to rent a HD DVR (albeit shitty) from your cable provider.
