Insider Trader: Enchanting, the final stretch {WOW Insider}
May 19th 2008 11:19AM Shattered Sun: 360-375
That is the way to go. I was struggling getting my enchanting up until I got [Formula: Enchant Chest - Defense]. I went from 361 to 375 in one easy night using the crap I had in my bank plus that ore from the AH. That recipe is a godsend to level enchanting.
I'd also recommend grinding Bash'ir Spell-Theives in Blade Edge Mountains to get [Enchant Weapon - Major Spellpower]. It's a very high demand enchant and will get you a bunch of skill points. It's also great to have regardless.
We meet again, Alterac {WOW Insider}
Mar 31st 2008 4:34PM I used my AV badges to track my 2.3 alliance Stormstrike AV matches. I had 43 badges saved up. Alliance didn't win once and often earned 0-20 bonus honor. 2.3 AV on Stormstrike was awful. Now, we win every other match, it seems. Even when we lose, we get decent honor which makes it much easier to take. The changes is definitely for the btter.
Breakfast Topic: AV Fixed? {WOW Insider}
Mar 27th 2008 4:57PM I played some Stormstrike Alliance AV last night and we won about half the matches but you're totally right. People don't remember how to play (for example kiting the general out of the boss room so he resets damage). I played 43 AV matches in 2.3. Alliance lost every one and in over half of those, I got 20 or less bonus honor. Now, even while losing, Alliance is getting about 200 honor. That alone is enough to convince people to come back and figure things out again. Earning those 43 badges was a nightmare. Now, I can't wait to get back in. I love defending graveyards and towers.
WoW, Casually: Welfare epics {WOW Insider}
Mar 27th 2008 3:29PM The tables could be turned and PVE epics could be called unemployed, mom's basement-dweller epics. It's just as demeaning and unnecessary either way. Let people play how they like. They pay just as much money to play the game and deserve just as much respect.

The AV map imbalance in patch 2.3 {WOW Insider}
Mar 14th 2008 6:31PM It's because pre 2.3, Horde didn't play for an hour and get 20 bonus honor. That's what happened last time I played AV. I can premade EotS with my guild and get 1000 bonus honor an hour. Why do you think people don't want to do AV again? I'm trying to earn AV badges now and I've gotten 22 without getting a single win. I don't suicide against Galv. I try and get to IBGY and hold it... but once Horde gets to SH chokepoint, it's over. They just have to rush that and the game is over usually. The best case scenario for me now is horde rushing general so I can earn my badge as quickly as possible. There's no way we can fight past the SH chokepoint before we run out of reinforcements.
Breakfast topic: Bad at WoW {WOW Insider}
Mar 7th 2008 2:39PM Someone who contiues to make stupid mistakes and makes other players' lives more difficult is a bad player. The elitest little pricks who are privileged or irresponsible enough to spend all their time playing the game and put down people who don't are BAD.
Someone who has to work or has an actual social life so can't dedicate the part-time-job-like hours required to even start doing the end game content isn't. I'm a fairly casual player simply because I have real life responsibilities. I've been playing the game since beta. I'm not dumb or a bad person because I don't have end game gear.
