Just made it, as pointless as this is.
That looks like the Radio Shack logo.
"Ferengi-inspired styling"? I don't see it.
I'm pretty sure I'll be canceling the BD option as well. It's just not worth it for the amount of BD movies I rent (I'm a casual user). I also think it's asinine to compare the price hike to the total cost of your membership. The flat-fee you're paying is a sunk cost and irrelevant to any decision regarding BD.
Cool. Was looking for something like this for my mom's birthday. She wants something for the kitchen with a tiny footprint that can play MP3's and has a FM radio. Too bad it doesn't have a CD player; it'd be perfect then.
Man, signing up for these things just gets more depressing each time. Engadget: "Hey! Who wants to lose again!? Just sign right here!"
You could probably sell that thing for some sweet cash. Just think what a guy could do with that kind of scratch.
How is the use of "bugger" in this description "British" anyway? He's using it as a noun, not a verb.
Eh, why not.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I just moved into a new apartment and have been reading about all of the new power strips out there, especially the green ones. I was wondering if you had any suggestions about which "green "power strips are out there with decent joules ratings. And when I say green, I mean power strips that have the remotes or switches to turn off all electricity flowing to certain plugs and with at least 2 plugs that are always on. I was looking specifically at sub $50 because I will need two, but if that is not possible I could be convinced otherwise. Thanks!"
