I think the Idea is cool, but i dont like it to tell you the truth. It takes a way to what a tattoo is. Sure in a way im sure the laser procedure is still expensive, but give it the same amount it will take for all the colors to be available, and the laser treatments will be cheaper, it will make tattoos something you do on a weekend to look cool...
and they will still sell the 23 inch screen?
Whats the point, if so?
God bless america >.>
does it really matter?
I've no problems with my system.
Too many signals in the house maybe?
OH, i need to get in on this. a chance in about 10k, sounds good to me.
This would work. Think of a barcode.
Scanning it would only take a few seconds.
I you think barcode, then add a few colors and instead of just lines use different symbols. it works. and It makes sense.
Look at the ups barcode thing, with all the dots.

If you put it in terms of binary, but instead of just 1 and 0, you can use short cuts, a red 6 would be the equivalent of 20 different 1s and 0s... This make sense, i don't understand why any of you are that skeptical. throw in 10 colors and and the alphabet and numbers, you could make a lot of WORDS.

Think about it, its like writing "apple" and the computer sees "apple"
instead of 010110010100101001010010101001010100101010 for the computer to see apple.
Its not that big of a deal.
Seems a little crazy. I imagine if you cant keep a good grip you shouldnt be swinging like that...
This is a good contest.
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to camera stuff. My wife loves to take pictures, though. So much so that she literally wore out her first point and shoot camera, and the Kodak Z712 I bought for her less than two years ago is starting to act up as well. To compound the matter, we are expecting our first born sometime next year. I fear the Kodak just isn't going to cut it any longer. What would be the best starter DSLR to get? She hates missing photo opportunities due to camera 'lag' so speed would definitely be at the top of the list. Photo quality and features would be next. Price should be no more than $800. I'm not interested in video capabilities."
