@ TheE3Guy

This bigger version of DSi will be released because old Japanese people have been complaining about small screen since there are many educational games that specifically use Japanese characters as part of game play.

And I wouldn't mind getting newer one because I'll be enjoying DSi until newer one comes out, which will be around fall of next year in my guess.

@bm

Bigger screen is good enough reason for me despite of resolution issue.
btw, bigger screen was THE reason for getting DSi also and I was very impressed by it (even if it was small increase from DS Lite.. now, think about how much more I'll be impressed w/ MUCH bigger screen)

Now, do you think all Buick drivers are over 65? Didn't thnk so.
This comes out w/ 3 colors.

1. Dark Brown
2. Natural White
3. Wine Red

Caveat: the resolution is the same, which means it's gonna get bulky.

But I'll get one anyway despite I got DSi last month.
It seems to me that older generation who started from NES era find themselves more comfortable with Dragon Quest series whereas PlayStation generation prefers Final Fantasy series by a big margin. I myself prefer Dragon Quest series over Final Fantasy series especially when FF series began to lose its magic.

Some pointed out that they don't like DQ series because of lack of changes, however, it is probably because the series sticks to the fundamental element of RPGs rather than trying out new things, which can be good or bad depends on your preference. On the contrary, those who like changes and new things will definitely prefer FF series.

There are reasons why Dragon Quest series are the 'National RPG' and the best selling PlayStation game of all time in Japan despite of western gamers favoring FF series. Japanese government had to pass a legislation to ban release of a new DQ game on weekdays because too many students and salarymen skip school and work to get a hold of a copy. When a government passes a legislation to ban release of a new game on weekdays, there must be something.

Anyways, I'm picking up my reserved copy of DQ4 tomorrow and will relive those precious moments all over again~
Very disappointed for not having any announcement on the redesign. I know DS lite is still selling very well and there's no real need for Nintendo to introduce new hardware, however, I wouldn't say it was too early to introduce a new redesign that closely resemble GB Micro.

I don't play GBA games on DS lite because color doesn't
look natural at all; color saturation is messed up to the point where I just can't stand it.

It would've been nice if something with higher volume and better LCD, not some cheap stuff, was announced at E3 this year. Oh well, I will wait for next year.
@C.A.M.
That was freaking hilarious lol

Deny all you want but you know you're owned by instead of owning them; how pathetic.
It's hard to believe that some of you are actually
making an argument FOR GameStop/EB.

When you open a factory sealed game for whatever reason, it's not new anymore.

Not to mention the fact that the displayed artbox is probably browsed and touched by dirty hands-
Just browse through few games and check your hands if they still feel clean or greasy.

And the argument that GameStop is doing this to reduce the cost- ha! I don't think their game is necessarily cheap when they only discount $2.50/5.00
for the used copies-

Anyways, I stop going there long time ago because it's not worth it.
riggs, that's what I was thinking too
Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I need help! I want a small pocket camcorder but I'm not sure which one to get. I don't want to fall into the hype of the Flip because I worry two hours won't be enough. What should I be looking for when considering a small camcorder and where can I get a good quality one with expandable memory? Thanks!"
